My paintings are
about human experience, the development of who we are, who we will become and
how that happens. In my paintings the environments interact with the subjects
helping to tell a story. These subjects are an honest confrontation with my
subconscious. Walking through
Childhood, focus on interpretations of my childhood memories. The large-scale
paintings in this exhibition feature self-portraits painted in colorful,
expressionistic, and abstract environments symbolizing the exuberance and
excitement of my youthful imagination.
